First tour of the year in Manchester and Glasgow

I don’t mind Christmas, but I don’t like not working. I wouldn’t say I’m a workaholic, but I enjoy work, especially when it takes me away for a few days.

In Manchester, I decided to try a new place for incalls. The place I stayed in Media City was great, but I haven’t been to Manchester City Centre before, so this time, I was very near the Arndale Centre. I got picked up by my first client, which I was really thankful for, since I didn’t know my way around at all! We got the hotel, had a cuppa and completed the first shoot. I was even treated to dinner afterwards at Five Guys Burgers, which, is one of my most fave places on the planet to eat!

The Tuesday I had a cancellation, so I decided to have a look around Manchester. So I headed to the art gallery, since I do enjoy them and they are free. I had lots of fun.

Later in the afternoon, I met with one of my regs for a second shoot. As always a great shoot and a video done.

The next day, another cancellation, so I headed to the science museum for the day. This was really interesting and they had an exhibition on about Robots, which was great, since they had some robots from movies and, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this, but I like movies.

There was some weird stuff there too! The baby thing was just creepy, since it moved and everything.

So, then I headed to Glasgow, second time for me. Stayed in a new place, since the last one I stayed in was packed, since it was the week of Burns Night, being a ‘southerner’, I had no idea.

I got so lost coming out of the train stations, so lost, I got a taxi to the hotel. What annoyed me was, the next, I went for a walk and I could see the station from my hotel! :banghead:

Friday, I had a great shoot in a dungeon, it was a little dark in there, but very interesting. I’m not into BDSM personally, but I do find the whole sub/dom thing fascinating.

All in all, it was a great trip, so, I had a few let downs, but that gave me the time to do a little sight seeing and a little R&R, which has been needed.

Now, I was planning on returning to Manchester and Glasgow in March/April time, but I’ve gone and broken my foot, badly, and have been signed off for 3 months! I’m hoping to be ‘back on my feet’ before then, so dates for a tour will follow. In Feb, I’m not looking at taking on any new work, since I just can’t get around. I’ll blog about the foot soon.

Here are a couple of other photos I took while away. I’m still editing them, but I can’t sit at the computer for too long, coz it gets really painful. 🙁
