D23 is a thing, which I had to look up, it’s described as “the ultimate Disney fan event”, which I would describe as “hell” personally. There’s already more bad news for Star Wars fans.
Disney once promised us a new Star Wars movie every year, but that was before the dark times before the Empire really took over and started to ruin everything.
That lovely lady whom we all love, Kathleen Kennedy, has now stated that there are no future plans for any new Star Wars movies, even though Ruin Johnson recently said:
“I’ve stayed close to Kathleen [Kennedy], and we get together often and talk about it. It’s just, at this point, a matter of schedule and when it can happen. It would break my heart if I were finished if I couldn’t get back in that sandbox at some point.”
It would break your heart would it Ruin? Well, then you would know how the majority of Star Wars fans would feel after they watched their hero die on screen so you could “subvert expectations”.
To add insult to injury, there are still plans to have Taika Waititi make his Star Wars movie as well, he’s said:
“I’m still writing. I’m still coming up with the ideas and storylining it and just wanted to make sure that it feels like a Star Wars film.”
Yes, the man behind Thor Love and Thunder might be making a Star Wars movie at some point. Why? Why do you hate the fans this much Disney?
The evil empress has said that all movies are on hold, so she can prevent the missteps she’s made in the past. I wish there was an actual quote there since some people still think he’s a force for good in the Star Wars Universe, but even she’s admitted she’s screwed up!
To be honest, not having any new Star Wars movies is a good thing, I mean, we’ve all been hurt, real fans just can’t carry on with taking this beating.
